Children in the UK are becoming weaker, less muscular and are unable to do physical task previous generations found simple. The research mostly focused on the 10-year olds. The can do fewer sit ups and are less able to hang on bars in the gym. Their arm strength has declined as well as the ability to grab an object. The loss of physical power is probably due to the change in activities. Playing computer games replaced the outdoor activities like rope skipping and tree climbing.

Honestly, I do not think this is a big problem. Lately, the people keep growing older and I do not think this is necessarily a good thing. The loss in physical power would not do so much harm that children cannot come out of their bed so it would not have a huge impact on their life. To me it is a shame that children prefer playing computer games. Being outdoors sounds like much more fun than sitting behind your desk on the computer. Outdoors, children will play with other children and this is good for their social skills. I do not like the idea that children will always play with the computer and do not experience the real life, not because of their health.
