Lucky Boy

Ethan Fidler, a 10 year old British boy was sent by the British National Health Service for six weeks to Florida. This whole trip has cost upwards to £50,000 but was absolutely necessary for the boy to stay alive, cause; a brain tumor, a very aggressive cancer called anaplastic ependymoma. The trip from Ethan Fidler provoked commotion by cancer patients in the US. In the US around 40 to 50 million people are uninsured because they can not bring up the money whereby one in six of the cancer patients have medical debts up to thousands of dollars.

First of all, I understand the commotion of the cancer patients in the US though you could say it is their own recital to be or not to be insured but the decision to be insured could mean a life with debts. The US health service is a mess and it is not fair to citizens in the US that they have to pay more for the same services than citizens from Britain. But second, the US has the means to help this boy from Britain, so I think it is best to help each other and unite forces.
